The increasing need for increased emphasis on integrating the management of and organizations compliance and governance risks into the overall risk context is clear. However the issue should be on doing this within an organization, by multiple means and not to increasingly depending on software. Any software solution's performance will be as good as the data populated in it. Organizations, particularly large and complex entities should first focus on the functional interfaces between separate departments dealing with these topics, together with making suitable provisions in risk appetite criteria.
