Facilitation is generally considered to be a process in which a neutral person helps a group work together more effectively. About the Presenter

Laura Mallabone has a MSc (ChemicalEngineer) which she completed at Chalmers, Sweden as well as an
MBA – Wits Business School, Johannesburg. Laura has over 20 years in Risk Management Experience. Some of her experience was in positions such as a risk management consultant, a business risk manager and as a global head of sustainability risk for a multinational mining company. She is currently the Director of her own company, Satarla. Her risk experience lies in integrated risk management which included risk facilitation at operational to board level and included technical, strategic, business, disaster risk management and scenario planning, as well as business continuity.
