IRMSA welcomes new President

IRMSA has a new President!  Berenice Francis has served as a Vice President of our Institute for the past year and was elected as our new President at the Executive Committee meeting held earlier this week.  We would like to congratulate her on this appointment.  Berenice has been actively involved with IRMSA since 2006, as a member and later chair of the Membership Committee, a former Vice President of Exco and Chair of the Education and Technical Committee. We are honoured to have Berenice, recipient of the prestigious 2015 IRMSA Risk Manager of the Year Award, as our President.

We look forward to this new chapter as well as the enthusiasm, energy and competence she brings to the Institute and wish her much success on this new journey.

Whilst we are celebrating a new President, it is with sad hearts that we bid farewell to Sheralee Morland as IRMSA President, a post she held since 2013.  A very big THANK YOU for the incredible contribution made during this time.  She has been a phenomenal ambassador for both the Institute and the greater risk fraternity. Under her capable leadership, IRMSA has built a solid foundation, setting the way for exciting initiatives and future growth.  Over this time, many ground-breaking achievements and milestones have been reached.  For continuity purposes, she will remain on Exco as a Past President for the next year, where she will continue to provide invaluable input and perspective.

We are extremely grateful for her dedication, unwavering support and tremendous commitment.
