What can be expected at the Risk Report Breakfast Presentation Launch

South Africa 2018 and beyond remains an uncertain place for business, organisations and individuals.  With the release of our IRMSA Risk Report 2018 you can look forward to a risk report that assists you in preparing for what is true, possibly scary, rather than what feels good.

The Report creates awareness of the risks facing the achievement of the South African country and industry objectives.  It intends to stimulate debate on how to best manage the risks highlighted in the report through communicating current challenges clearly, so that effective risk treatment plans can be developed to benefit both the country and industry.

It is supplemented with scenarios developed by the Institute of Futures Research, risk readiness and risk relationship analysis performed by an independent analyst and our first industry risk report by the South African National Energy Association (SANEA).  To maximise the valuable insights, experiences and lessons shared by the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), a supplementary e-Book has been added, allowing the reader to navigate the source data by risk and by SME.

The vision of the IRMSA Risk Intelligence Committee is still to deliver a tool that forms part of every risk practitioners’ tool box and transform the presence and value proposition of risk management in the boardroom.  We trust that the IRMSA Risk Report 2018 will not disappoint.
