IRMSA issues update on agreement with Risk Insights  

On 25 July 2025 the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) announced that it has convened a meeting of its Social and Ethics Committee to thoroughly debate the professional body’s response to the censure by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) of Ms Anushka Bogdanov, a director of Risk Insights with which IRMSA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). 

The outcome of the meeting was ratified by the IRMSA Board after considering the implications of the matter for IRMSA’s governance responsibilities and brand integrity. 

Subsequently, on 7 August 2025, IRMSA sent Risk Insights a notice of termination of the MoU in accordance with the provisions outlined in the agreement. The agreement between the parties shall formally terminate on 6 September 2025.
