IRMSA is once again calling on tertiary institutions across Africa to take part in the 2nd Edition of the IRMSA University Risk Management Challenge 2026!
This exciting challenge brings together ambitious students to tackle real-world risk management scenarios, showcase innovative thinking, and compete on a national stage judged by industry professionals. 🌍✨
👥 WHO CAN ENTER?
- Full-time registered university or tertiary institution students studying a risk or relevant qualification
- Teams may consist of up to 5 students and 1 university representative

⚠️ HOW TO APPLY
📌 STEP 1:
Gather your team of up to 5 students and 1 university representative
📌 STEP 2:
Complete the Online Application Form and submit your team’s CVs
📌 STEP 3:
Review the official case study, rubric, and related competition documents once received
📌 STEP 4:
Prepare and submit your final case study report under your unique team name

A dynamic, real-world, case-study-based competition where student teams apply risk management thinking to practical scenarios and present their solutions before industry experts at the IRMSA Conference 2026.

The winning team will be announced at the IRMSA Gala Dinner on 2 October 2026

- Submission deadline: 30 June 2026
- Finalists announced: 24 August 2026
- Presentation submission deadline: 26 September 2026
Final presentations at the IRMSA Conference: 1 and 2 October 2026
