Welcome to "CALCULATED CHAOS" — A first-of-its-kind showdown is landing in SA, and YOU could be part of history! We are calling tertiary institutions across South Africa! Inspired by the globally renowned RIMS Spencer Challenge (US), this is not your average competition. It's high-energy, brain-busting, and career-launching.

We're calling on ALL undergraduate students who dare to compete, think critically, challenge the system, show us how the next generation of risk leaders handle pressure! and represent their institutions with pride. 🌍✨

🔎 WHAT IS THE IRMSA ANNUAL RISK MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE?

A dynamic, real-world, case-study-based competition where student teams apply risk management thinking to a high-stakes scenario — judged by top industry professionals.

👥 WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

All full-time undergraduate students enrolled at a South African university or tertiary institution. A team of four + 1 university representative from your institution.

🤔 HOW DOES IT WORK?

Teams download and review the case study, apply strategic risk approaches, and submit their solution. Finalists present live at the IRMSA Conference 2025 on the 1&2nd October 2025, and the winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner on the 3rd October 2025.
