Complaints:

What if I have a grievance/complaint about a member? 

Please send an e-mail to complaints@irmsa.org.za.  The complaint will be reviewed in accordance with the IRMSA Grievance and Appeals Policy.  A copy of which may be made available upon request.   

Regions:

Do you have Regional committees or Chapters in the different provinces? 

Yes, we do we currently have committee in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Western Cape and Limpopo 

 

Do you have regional Offices? 

No, we do not have regional offices. Our offices are based in Johannesburg, Gauteng 

 

Should I be interested in joining or being a member of the Regional committees or Chapters what is the process? 

Please send an email to Valerie Pillay email address valeriep@irmsa.org.za. Kindly note that your requested will be submitted to the relevant committee for review and approval. 

 

Should I be a member of IRMSA for me to be a committee member on the Regional committees or Chapters? 

Yes, you should be an active member as this will be reviewed by the committee. 

 

Does IRMSA host regional events? 

Yes, we do host events in the regions please refer to our events calendar for the dates. 

 

Do you provided training interventions in the regions? 

Yes, we do provide training please refer to our training calendar. We can also assist with external training for organisations please send your request to training@irmsa.org.za 

 

Do you host board exams in the regions? 

Yes, please contact the professionalisation for terms and conditions. 

 

Will I get a certificate for being a committee member of IRMSA 

No, you do not receive a certificate, 

 

Do we get remunerated by being a Committee member. 

IRMSA is a non-profit organisation therefore one do not get paid for being a committee member.

Send an email to communications@irmsa.org.za and we will gladly assist with your request. 

 

Does IRMSA have social media accounts? 

Yes, IRMSA is on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. You can follow us on all these platforms for updates on content daily. 

 

What thought leadership content does IRMSA offer to risk professionals? 

IRMSA offers a fortnightly risk chat, monthly newsflash and technical library (only available to members) with thousands of articles, case studies, templates and media content. 

 

How do I contribute to IRMSA thought leadership content? 

IRMSA always welcomes risk related thought leadership content that can be submitted to communications@irmsa.org.za which will be sent for review by the Risk Intelligence Committee Publications working group.
