IRMSA Risk Report | South Africa Risks 2023 - Now Available
The South African Government Priorities for 2023 and the National Development Plan are the lenses through which this year’s report will be presented. Writing a South Africa risk report is a valuable and necessary exercise to support our members; to play a pivotal role in supporting their organisations creating value in a sustainable way.
It provides critical information that may help both the public and private sectors in providing risk context into the strategic planning processes, generate risk awareness among business leaders, policymakers, civil society organizations and the general public about the country's risk profile (both threats and opportunities).
The risk report was historically issued in February each year. Considering the intended value of the report in contributing to effective strategy setting, budgeting and integrated reporting, it was decided to release the report in June to August every year, making the content more up-to-date. The report will be able to reflect back on what was already released in the early months of the calendar year and look forward into the next.
