FAQ's - Training

Are your training courses accredited? 

IRMSA courses are not accredited. They are for Continuing Professional Development Purposes only. We are not allowed to offer accredited courses because we are the assessment quality partner. 
 

What do I get after training? 

A certificate of attendance, however in order to receive your Certificate of Attendance, the training invoice must be settled in full and the attendance register must be signed on arrival and at the end of the training session. 

 

How do I register for training? 

All registrations are done online, on the IRMSA Website. You go to our Community Calendar to select the training that you would like to attend, then follow the prompts.  
If you are not able to register online, send a written request to training@irmsa.org.za for assistance. 

 

Where can I get more information about the training course?

On IRMSA homepage, go to the calendar and click on the course that you are interested in, at the bottom of that page click on more information. 

 

Can I attend training and pay later? 

IRMSA must receive proof of payment or an approved and signed Purchase Order prior to the commencement of training with an accompanying letter confirming when the outstanding funds will be disbursed to IRMSA. 

 

What is the training cancellation policy? 

A written cancellation must be sent to training@irmsa.org.za 7 working days prior to the training date, a cancellation fee of R1 190.00 Exclude VAT will apply. Delegates will be personally liable for the payment of the full registration fee in the event of non-attendance or failure to cancel in writing prior to the deadline of 7 working days priorto the commencement of the training. 

Substitutions may be made at no additional cost. 

 

When do I confirm dietary requirements? 

Dietary requirements received 3 days prior to the commencement of training can be accommodated. 

 

What time does the training start? 

Registration opens at 07:30am, training will start at 08:30am and finish at 16:00pm 

 

Can I request a quotation for training? 

Yes, the quotation is made available on request and it’s only valid for seven working days. It is important that you notify the Institute once the quotation has been approved, to ensure that you are registered for the training. A quotation does not confirm your registration. You will still need to register for training once your quotation has been approved by your organiation. IRMSA must receive proof of payment or an approved and signed Purchase Order prior to the commencement of training.
